The dream of the 1890s is alive in Mayo...

Hi there! I'm Jamie Bee, a recovering American lawyer now seeking the good life in rural Ireland. Join along with me, my husband Sam, and Chewy the dog as we discover the dream of the 1890s just outside Newport, Co Mayo. We’ll be pickling our own vegetables and brewing our own beer, raising our own chickens and curing our own meats, turning our backs on huge corporate monopolies and supporting local businesses.
